Dr. Kenny Huang is the leading figure of the Internet communities in Asia. Since the early years of Taiwan’s Internet development, he contributed a great deal to build up a better Internet environment in Taiwan. Because of his tremendous knowledge and experience, he has been invited to take up leading roles in many Internet technology and policy organizations, including CEO and Chairman of TWNIC, Author of IETF RFC3473, APNIC Executive Council & Treasurer, Co-Chair of Chinese Generation Panel (LGRs for the Root Zone), Chair of ccPDP4 Working Group (IDN ccTLD Policy), Advisory Council of dot Asia Organization, NRO Number Council, Board member of PIR (dot ORG registry), Advisor of .taipei Registry, and ICANN New gTLD Review Committee etc.
Dr. Huang serves an advisory role in various government institutions, including Advisory Council of Taiwan High Prosecutors Office, Computer Crime Prevention Center, Advisor of FinTech Program of Financial Supervisory Commission, Advisory Council of International Cooperation Development Fund, Universal Service Fund Committee of National Communications Commission, and Cybersecurity Auditor of Executive Yuan, etc.
Dr. Kenny Huang holds a doctorate degree in Management of Information System from National Chengchi University, a Master degree in Scientific Computing from London South Bank University, a Bachelor degree from Tamkang University.
