Dr. Dovan Rai

Director of Reseach & Development, Body & Data

Dovan Rai is a computer scientist, educator, and writer. She currently serves as the Director of Research and Development of Body & Data, a nonprofit organization advocating for digital rights and feminist internet. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), USA, with a research focus on the use of artificial intelligence in education. She has worked as a software engineer, designer, researcher, and educator, teaching in Nepal and the USA. She has developed technology platforms for youth education and initiated educational programs in data science and machine learning. She writes about socio-political issues in Nepal.
