Denken Chen

Software Developer and Advisor

Denken Chen has been a mobile app developer for over a decade. He is the tech lead at a think tank, working with the Ministry of Digital Affairs to support policy work of Taiwan Digital Identity Wallet. During this work, he has been working with W3C groups, such as Decentralized Identifier (DID), Verifiable Credentials (VC), and Credentials Community Group (CCG).

Denken has been contributing in g0v civic tech communities, involved in multiple open source projects, e.g., Voice of Legislative Yuan, Ptt Official App. He has been also active in web3 communities governance, e.g., FAB DAO, raising public goods funding for local projects and communities.

Denken Chen具有超過十年行動應用程式開發經驗，目前擔任智庫技術專家，協助數位發展部推動數位憑證皮夾計畫。這段工作期間，他也參與W3C國際標準制定組織裡的DID、VC工作組與Credentials社群組。Denken也在g0v公民科技社群裡積極貢獻，實質參與多個開源專案，譬如：立法院大小聲、批踢踢官方App。此外，他亦活躍於web3社群治理，譬如在FAB DAO募集國際公共財資金，以利在地專案與社群發展。
