Poren Chiang is a digital law researcher and a software developer based in Taiwan.

His research agenda focuses on digital goverance and open data. He also writes on a wide range of topics including data surveillance, FLOSS licenses, social media regulations, freedom of speech, and other constitutional law topics in the digital world.

Poren has been an active contributor of FLOSS and civic tech community, advocating for a more accountable and transparent digital transformation of the government. He also co-founded and co-organized SITCON, a tech education initiative to support young programming self-starters.

他的研究領域聚焦於數位治理與開放資料,同時也撰寫涵蓋多元主題的文章,包括資料監控、自由/開源軟體(FLOSS)授權條款、社群媒體規範、言論自由,以及數位世界中的其他憲法議題。

Poren Chiang長期參與自由/開源軟體與公民科技社群,致力於推動政府數位轉型的問責與透明化。他同時也是 SITCON 的共同創辦人與共同組織者,該計畫是一項支持年輕自學程式設計者的科技教育倡議。
