陳思廷

Mr. Szu-Ting Chen served as a Research Fellow at the Science & Technology Law Center of the Institute for Information Industry (III), where he was responsible for the legal framework project on information and communications technology in Taiwan (2001–2003). He later gained practical judicial experience as a Law Clerk at the Taiwan Supreme Court (2003–2004), before pursuing doctoral studies in France (Ph.D. in Law, 2010) with a French Government Scholarship. Since 2011 he has been a faculty member at the Department of Law, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), where he had served as a member of the Intellectual Property Taskforce. In addition, he acts as a panelist for domain name dispute resolution and has been appointed as an examiner and question setter for several national examinations.
In fostering academic activities & networks, Professor Chen is a founding board member of the Taiwan Intellectual Property Law Association (TIPLA) and actively speaks for Taiwan within the International Literary and Artistic Association (ALAI). He has contributed to the development of Taiwan’s legal infrastructure for Internet and has conducted several researches, supported by the National Science and Technology Council, on IP, cultural and creative industries, and the intersection of artificial intelligence and copyright.
Professor Chen holds a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Nantes, France. His areas of expertise include intellectual property law, information technology law, property law, and laws related to entertainment, art and culture.
陳思廷曾於財團法人資訊工業策進會科技法律研究中心擔任研究員及我國資通法制專案分項負責人(2001~2003),於最高法院擔任法官助理短暫歷練審判實務(2003-2004)後,獲得法國政府獎學金留學取得法國法學博士學位(2010)。他隨後返台任教於國立成功大學法律學系迄今,除兼任該校智慧財產權小組成員外,並擔任網域名稱爭議處理專家小組成員,且獲聘為數項國家考試命、審題委員。在推動學術交流上,他是台灣智慧財產權法學會(TIPLA)的創會理事之一,也積極參與國際著作權學會(ALAI)為台灣發聲。他曾協助我國網際網路基礎法制建立,近來在國科會補助下進行智慧財產權、文化創意及人工智慧與著作權等相關研究。
陳思廷是法國Nantes大學法學博士,專長包括:智慧財產權法、資訊科技法、民事財產法、藝術文化與娛樂法制等。
