Mr. Wenchi Lai is a technology-law attorney focusing on intellectual property, trade secrets, data governance, and the legal implications of AI and emerging technologies. He co-founded IS-Law in 2000 and is recognized as part of Taiwan’s first generation of “Internet Lawyers.” Over his career he has closely tracked how Internet, AI, and technological development shape legal frameworks, advising government agencies on tech-related legal research and participating in legislative discussions as a trusted civic thought partner.

Mr. Lai currently serves as Managing Partner of IS-Law. His public and professional service includes: Member of TIPO’s Copyright Review and Mediation Committee; Executive Director of the Taiwan Trademark Association; Supervisor of the Taiwan Internet and E-Commerce Association (TiEA), and Advisor to the Taiwan Intellectual Property Training Academy.

賴文智律師專精科技法律，專長於智慧財產權、營業秘密、資料治理，以及人工智慧與新興科技對法律的影響。2000年共同創辦益思科技法律事務所，為台灣第一代「網路律師」。其職業生涯長期追蹤網際網路、AI 與科技發展如何形塑法制架構，並就科技相關法制研究為政府機關提供諮詢，亦以受信賴的民間智庫與政策對話夥伴身分參與修法討論。

賴律師現任益思科技法律事務所所長，其公共與專業服務包括：經濟部智慧財產局著作權審議及調解委員會委員、台灣商標協會常務理事、台灣網路暨電子商務產業發展協會（TiEA）監事，以及經濟部智慧財產培訓學院顧問。
