Jofan Lin joined LINE Taiwan in June 2017 and currently serves as Lead of the Corporate Affairs Department. She is responsible for government relations and public policy, leading the Corporate Affairs team to monitor, analyze, and develop policy strategies. Her work includes building and maintaining relationships with government stakeholders, advocating for a favorable regulatory environment, and mitigating operational risks. Through proactive communication and collaboration, Jofan continues to amplify LINE’s positive influence and support Taiwan in addressing public policy issues and challenges in the digital era.

 

With over 15 years of experience in the field of technology policy, Jofan previously worked at the Science & Technology Law Institute of the Institute for Information Industry from 2009 to 2014. In that role, she served as a policy advisor on government science and technology laws, contributing to national intellectual property strategies and industrial consulting projects. From 2021 to 2023, she led government relations for Zoom Video Communications in Taiwan, supporting the company’s adaptation to the regulatory landscape and promoting operational flexibility.

 

Since 2022, Jofan has served as a member of the “IP Address and Internet Protocol Committee” under the Taiwan Network Information Center (TWNIC). In 2025, she was appointed to the “Digital Economy Advisory Committee” under the Ministry of Digital Affairs.

 

Jofan holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from National Chengchi University and a Master’s degree in Science and Technology Law from National Tsing Hua University. Her areas of expertise include government relations, legal and tech policy, corporate risk management, and regulatory compliance.
